This railroad spike knife has been hand forged from a high carbon railroad spike which was doused in oil to increase its strength and rigidity. This knife features a re-curve blade. The "S" curve of the blade causes the knife to become more effective in chopping and slicing. The handle of the knife has a single, clockwise twist which offers a good grip. The finish of the blade has been polished to a mirror shine.
