This is a blade based on medieval Irish swords. It has a ring pommel and full tang which passes through the center and peened together. The handle is made of hickory and the blade has been heat treated. This sword is a battle ready rendition of a one handed short sword. The blade was left to retain a lot of its forged elements giving it a feel like it's many centuries old. This sword is completely forged and crafted from scratch, an element which differs from the majority of blades today.
